Bach Dang Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (Vinashin Bachdang) is one of the leading members of Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group (VINASHIN) in developing the shipbuilding industry of the country. The corporation (who used to be named as Bachdang Shipyard and Bachdang Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd,) was officially founded at July 19th, 2007 by Board of Director of Vinashin.

Bachdang Shipbuilding Industry Corporation is organized and existing under the multi-orientation with new building and ship repairing as main business in co-ordination with expanding and developing auxiliary industries satisfying the market market’s demand, combining production and improvement advanced technology to promote the competitiveness and inflexibility in international economic integration under the target to be one of the leading corporations of Vietnam Shipbuilidng Industry Group in ship new-building and repairing and other industries”. From now on, the Corporation has been in new period of development with subsidiaries, affiliates and joint ventures.

In the past years, we has gained many achivements in technique and technology. Most of inportant products have been assigned to Vinashin - Bach dang by VINASHIN. Till now,  we are able to build cargo vessels and oil-tankers up to 70.000DWT, repair vessels to 10.000 DWT on dry-dock, and manufacture and assemble diesel engines up to 32.000 HP such as MAN B&W and MITSUBISHI main engines. We always sucessfully achives production norm and contribute the highest output to of VINASHIN, accounting around 10%.

Together with the development of production capacity, the human resource of the company is also develop on quantity and qualification. Vinashin – Bachdang have not been only the training qualified workers and engineers for itself but also for many other Group’s subsidiaries. The Corporation has acquired and promote the experience, advanced management and technology to supply the domestic and foreign customers with high quality and advanced technology products which meet the  various requirement of domestic and international market.
